Walworth County Prayer Breakfast
Town of Delavan Community Center

May 5, 2011 | 6:45 Breakfast 7:00 Prayer

Welcome

The National Day of Prayer was established in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.  Its observance is founded on the constitutional rights of freedom of speech and freedom of religion and can be celebrated by all Americans.

Locally, the Walworth County Prayer Breakfast seeks to communicate the need for personal repentance, and to mobilize personal and corporate prayer, particularly for the nation and those in leadership on all levels.

This year’s prayer breakfast will be held on the morning of May 5 in the Town of Delavan Community Center at the Delavan Lake Inlet.

The program begins with a light continental breakfast at 6:45 a.m. and concludes at 8:30 a.m.  The program will include music, prayer, and scripture reading.

There is no cost to attend the event - a free will offering will be taken to cover the financial needs of the event.

Call 262-215-0956 for additional information.
